Lets start where it matters most, audio quality.
For the majority of the time, audio was fairly clean and didnt come through sounding distorted or harsh.
Does that mean you get impressive audio, though?
The soundstage can get a little cluttered when listening with the Sony MDR-EX15AP.
And in terms of the basics, these wired earbuds perform decently anyway.
So sound is pretty average overall and, for this price, that suits me just fine.
But what of the noise isolation?
Are these going to offer the isolation youd get from some of thebest wireless earbudswith ANC?
Another department that impressed me was the EX15APs appearance.
you might also get these buds in Black, Pink or White, so theres an option for everyone.
Something that I wasnt massively keen on, however, was the EX15APs remote and mic.
First of all, the controller only has a play/pause button, no volume controls.
One more design issue is that these buds dont have a waterproof rating.
Theres nothing particularly standout other than their exceptionally low price, but there doesnt have to be.
This model is essentially the same as the Sony MDR-EX15LP; it just adds a microphone into the mix.
However, it’s possible for you to often find them for even less.
