It’s a fantastic-looking pad and can be yours if you’ve received a Nintendo pre-order invite.
Thankfully, it’s widely available.
However, do remember that it has a lower resolution than the official Switch 2 camera.

A tip while we experience a lull in stock…
In short, don’t panic about the lack of stock right now and look to scalpers and resellers.
Amazon hasn’t joined the party since day one, basically, so is due for a restock.
Currys is only doing in-store pre-orders right now and absolutely has to join the online party at some point.
Along with regular checks of Very, Argos, and EE, these are your best bets.

However, it looks like it only works on some accounts, so fair warning on that.
As a result, it’s absolutely worth a go, but no guarantees it’ll work, unfortunately.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller pre-orders are live in the UK!
One of my highlights from the Paris event was getting to try out the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller.
That’s becauseMario Kart Worldis slated to cost an eye-watering 74.99 by itself.
That means buying the console and game separately will push the cost up to around 471.
Save yourself 41 by getting the bundle instead.
Grand Prix events' seamless transitions between races and the phenomenally fun Knockout Tour are also wonderful additions.

This seems to be the physical version of the game, and you could pre-order it for 66.99.
That said, I did manage to get some hands-on time withDonkey Kong Bananzaat the recent Paris event.

As a result, this one could be the one to go for while it’s still live.
However, what I can say is that the hands-on experience with Nintendo Switch 2 is sublime.

Very has now run out of all its bundles and stock, joining Amazon and other retailers.
Smyths Toys are still taking click-and-collect pre-orders but the number of locations is dwindling rapidly.
I believe Currys are still taking in-store pre-orders however.
Overall, though, stock is running low in the UK no matter where you look.

Here’s some good news for all of us, though.
Amazon UK was inviting registrations for invitations but those buttons have disappeared from the listing pages.
You might have better luck in stores though.
However, we don’t know the time they’ll go live, so that remains a mystery.
So, if that’s you then we’d recommend keeping that inbox close by!
