A Kirby remaster?

Wondering what might be in store?

The latest rumors suggest that we a remaster ofKirby: Planet Robobotcould be announced.

The Legend of Zelda

Of course, this is pure speculation at this time but it would make a lot of sense.

Could this hint at some of the things we might see at the Nintendo Direct?

It’s not likely, but it’s still interesting nonetheless.

Super Mario Odyssey

I’ve been keeping up with thelatest posts on X / Twitterto see what everyone’s been talking about.

I’m noticing lots ofThe Legend of Zeldafans holding out for remasters.

I’ve even spotted one fan desperate for aTomodachi Life 2reveal.

Metroid Prime 4

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Here are some of the more amusing ones that I’ve spotted so far.

On the other, Nintendo might want to focus more heavily on larger franchises likeMario Kartwith more general appeal.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con charging stand

We’ll just have to wait and see…

Will there be any hardware revealed?

Do you have any predictions as to what is going to be shown?

Or maybe a burning desire for a certain game to appear?

Why not use the next few minutes to check that you have some drinks ready and get comfy?

Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo

I’m personally sipping on a coffee and have an ice cool cup of water on standby.

I hope you set an Alarmo, because we’re in the home stretch now!

It looks like a blast!

Pokémon Legends Z-A

Now an adorable look atTamagotchi Plaza!

It looks like a cute take on running your own shop.

Here’s another look atPokemon Legends: Z-Aand it’s a bit… rough.

Rhythm Heaven: Groove

I’m not the biggest fan of the series, but the visuals here look seriously dated.

Hopefully this will be one title that gets lots of Switch 2 enhancements.

The trailer showed off some core mechanics, including Wild Zones and a… battle royale mode?

Nintendo Switch Digital Game Card

Hold up - is that a newRhythm Heavengame?

It certainly looks like it!

Okay this is weird…

Nintendo Switch Digital Game Card

Some kind of hardware reveal?

Not hardware, but a software feature.

Welcome Virtual Game Cards!

Tomadachi Life Living the Dream

These are added to your system when you buy a game, and allow you to play a title.

If you own multiple systems, you might transfer them between them like you would a physical game.

How bizarre… Maybe some kind of measure to reduce game sharing?

Or a cross-generation move with the Nintendo Switch 2 in mind.

Save data will not be erased, which is good to know.

Lots of surprising reveals and some fantastic games to look forward to.

What did you think?

Lot us know with a post tagging us onX / Twitter!

The biggest surprises from the show

There were some big surprises in this Nintendo Direct.

For me, the most shocking reveal from the show was the newTomodachi Lifegame.

I love live sims and have been hoping for a series revival.

The second pre-orders are available, I’ll be placing one ASAP.

I was also caught off guard by the new Virtual Game Card feature.

The Nintendo Today app was also a surprise?

Here’s what some of my colleagues from TechRadar are most looking forward to.

“Tomodachi Life: Living the Dreamwas absolutely the announcement of the show for me,” he said.

“I only hope they bring back the ravioli bath; the greatest Mii invention of all time!”

Did they bring backDuck Hunt?

That might be good.

I imagine they didn’t though."

The Nintendo Today app is available!

If you were wondering when you could download the Nintendo Today app… Well right now, actually!

It seems to be live right now on Android and iOS.

Oh, and that hand-drawnThe Eternal Life of Goldmantitle looks like a beautiful platformer.

“I found the trailer disappointing.

I’m still excited, but this trailer didn’t sell the premise well at all to newcomers.”

I’ve just received an email from Bandai Namco with some more information aboutShadow Labyrinth!

The game will feature challenging enemies and puzzles, plus a huge maze-like world to explore.

I’ve also got some more information onPatapon 1+2 Replayin my inbox.

The game will release on July 11, 2025.

In addition to Nintendo Switch, it’s also coming to PlayStation 5 and PC.

This was quickly followed up with a post with the correction “*your”.

MoreGradius Originsdetails have just arrived!

It features 2D sprites and background, so should fit in well with the rest of the collection.

Hot off the presses, I’ve got the latest details onTamagotchi Plaza.

The game releases on June 27 and is part of theTamagotchi Connection: Corner Shopseries.

It lets the player run twelve different shops in the Tamagotchi world, serving cute characters from the universe.

Some newRaidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armydetails just dropped!

Atlus also posted a new extended video with a detailed look at the game.

It offers a full breakdown of the game’s setting and story, plus investigations mechanics.

The changes in this version are detailed and there’s also an interview with the director about the remaster.

What could it do?

I’ve got no idea, but it’s definitely an interesting little detail.

Excited forWitchbrook’slaunch on Nintendo Switch later this year?

We’ve just received a batch of new details on Chucklefish’s latest life sim!

The game is set to arrive on Switch during Holiday 2025, so get wish listing now!

The storyline looks fun here.

Choose your adventure-esque, with some excellent art, as shown in the trailer.

Basically you’ll play as a Disney villain or two in a cafe… certainly a unique premise!

Unfortunately, I just don’t see this happening any time soon.

First up wasPatapon 1+2 Replay,a remastered collection of Japan Studio-developed PSP classics.

Seeing that Rhys gave Nintendo Today!

a go, I, too, downloaded it and am giving it a spin.

That means every exciting unveil and the reveal of the Nintendo Today!

Dash here once again now that the morning has come around.
