So can the JBL Tune 305C live up to these bold promises, or do they instead fall flat?
Well, lets start where it matters most sound.
you’ve got the option to be assured, however, that bass wont sound nasty and distorted.
The JBL feel like good value in comparison.
But although overall audio is certainly clear, it doesnt really sound massively detailed.
Like theApple EarPods USB-C, theyre pretty loose-fitting, with an ‘open-ear’ design.
Not ideal if youre on a run or working out.
But again, some may prefer the more relaxed feel of the Tune 305C.
Firstly, I have to say I was very impressed with mic quality.
There was some very slight tinniness on a phone call, but my voice was nice and clear.
Youre not going to believe me, but the fun doesnt stop there either.
EQ parameters are pretty rare for cheap wired earbuds, so I was delighted to find this here.
Another slightly disappointing aspect of these earbuds is their design.
All in all, the JBL Tune 305C are a solid pair of in-ear buds.
They have typically clean audio with commendable bass and volume, EQ options and a surprisingly good mic.
But at 16.75 / AU$24 (about $21), theres still plenty to like here.
These in-ears are typically priced at 16.75 / AU$24, making them a very budget-friendly option.

I did, however, also spend hours tuning into songs from my personal library.
And I took the 305C with me everywhere for this review.
