It got me thinking about my own point-and-shoot that I bought back in 2012, theSony Cyber-shot RX100.

Point-and-shoots have enjoyed a surge in popularity for a few years now, especially with young photographers.
That’s more to the pity.

The Ricoh GR III series is another hit, costing around the $1,000 / 1000 mark.
Money doesn’t appear to be an object for this new generation of old-school shooters.
I hope that 2025 is the year that the simple point-and-shoot digital camera returns.
