Ive been usingMicrosoftWindows since the days of Windows 3.1, but Ive neverlovedthe operating system.

Instead, Ive stuck with it over the decades mainly out of familiarity.

However, I was removing the safety net of deep familiarity that I have with Windows.

It also felt like macOS respected my choices when I set non-Apple applications as defaults.

Once Id set Chrome as my default web surfing app, that was it.

Another thing I didnt miss was the instability.

Meanwhile, macOS feels a lot more stable and dependable.

Perhaps the biggest, yet least exciting, thing was copy and pasting.

What I did miss was Windows 11s excellent Clipboard Paste feature.

Its one of Windows best recent features, and Ireallymissed it in macOS.

I often use theWindows key + arrow keykeyboard shortcut to make this process even easier.

To be honest, the clipboard feature alone has been enough for me to go back to Windows 11.

Despite all the hassles and annoyances, this one feature really makes a difference to my day job.
