To turn off your activity status on Instagram, you first need to access your prefs.
Log into your Instagram account on a desktop or mobile unit and go to your profile.
On mobile, select thethree horizontal linesin the top-right corner of the screen to accessSettings and Activity.
From here on, the steps are identical for all devices.
Then select ‘Show activity status’underWho can see that you’re online.
Your activity status is turned off!
