Since launch, Ubisoft has improved the PS5 Pro modes further (April 7, 2025).
Now, PS5 Pro makes use of PSSR technology in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, enhancing visual quality.
In addition, Balanced Mode now features Raytraced Specular, making it even closer to the Quality Mode.
As such, I recommend the Performance Mode.
There’s only selective Ray Tracing to take advantage of here, but the 60fps really improves the gameplay.
There are some selective Ray Tracing features however, which is a nice touch.
