AMDappears to be working on a new Threadripper edition sporting3D V-Cachecapabilities.

There will be certain limitations at first, however.

The manual for this particular motherboard notes there is an option to control 3D V-Cache stacks.

However, at present there are currently noThreadripper CPUswhich use this.

What does this mean for users?

Any prospective changes from AMD are likely still in the pipeline, and there are notable limitations.
